What is PIN?
The PIN, composed of six digits, is the only passcode on the Mixin Messenger. All operations-related assets and privacy, such as changing phone numbers, transferring assets, setting up Emergency contact, etc., require users to input their PIN to verify that they are the owner. The PIN is encrypted and stored across the entire Mixin Network. Even Mixin’s technical team cannot view or reset it.
