PIN Code (Wallet Password)
Mixin’s MPC wallet uses TIP technology, enabling you to manage your assets decentrally with a simple 6-digit PIN.
Tip: Set up recovery contacts (formerly named emergency contacts) promptly to avoid potential issues if your phone number is lost.
Warning: If you forget your PIN, it cannot be recovered! If you forget it after a long period of inactivity, try five attempts daily (with time lock restrictions). Write down all attempted combinations to avoid repeating them. It typically takes 1–3 weeks to recover access with common personal passwords.
To deposit cryptocurrency from another exchange or wallet to Mixin:
Go to Wallet Home → Deposit.
Select the cryptocurrency.
Confirm the network.
Copy the deposit address or scan the QR code.

Withdrawal fees are flat and not dependent on the amount. Some coins, like USDT and XIN, allow using the same cryptocurrency as the fee.
To withdraw to another exchange or wallet:
Go to Wallet Home → Withdraw.
Select the cryptocurrency.
Enter the withdrawal address or select an existing one.
Enter the amount, check the fee and address, and input your PIN to complete.
