How to View the Mnemonic or Private Key of an Imported Wallet

Starting from version 3.3.0, Mixin Messenger supports importing mnemonic wallets, private key wallets, and watch-only addresses. Imported wallets can be renamed, deleted, and managed flexibly.


⚠️ Please update Mixin Messenger to version 3.3.0 or later. Download the latest version


🔐 Mixin servers never store your PIN, private keys, or mnemonics!


📌 Wallets imported via mnemonics allow you to view both the mnemonic and private key. Wallets imported via private keys only allow you to view the private key.


View the Private Key


1. Access the Entry

Open Mixin Messenger → Switch to the Wallet Home → Tap the top left corner to open the wallet list → Switch to the wallet you want to view → Tap the More Menu in the top right corner → Select Show Private Key


2. View the Private Key


⚠️ Perform this action only in a secure environment. Do not expose your private key in public places or where cameras or strangers might be present.


Enter PIN → Select the Network → Confirm the security notes → View the private key.


View the Mnemonic

2. View the Mnemonic
