How to Restrict Messages from Strangers

Steps to Set Up

Restrict Strangers from Sending You Messages
Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Conversation > Set “Who Can send Message to Me” to “My Contacts”.
Note: If you messaged users outside your contact list within the past 30 days before enabling this setting, you will still receive messages from them after enabling it.

Restrict Strangers from Adding You to Groups
Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Conversation > Set “Who Can Add Me to Groups” to “My Contacts”.

Restrict Transfer Notifications
If someone keeps sending you small transfers, you can limit notifications by setting a minimum transfer amount. Transfers below this amount will not trigger notifications or appear as transfer cards in chats, but they will still be recorded in the Transfer and Asset Details page.

To set this up:
Go to Settings > Notifications and Confirmations > Change the “Transfer Notification” amount. Setting an amount to enable or set it to 0 disables this feature.
