[Announcement] Mixin Network MDT Debt Repayment Plan

Dear Mixin Users,

It has now been more than two years since the incident on September 23, 2023. During this time, we have never stopped working toward a resolution, and we continue to remember every user who was affected. We understand deeply that rebuilding trust takes more than time — it requires concrete action.

Following the incident, Mixin Network initiated a debt registration and repayment process, and issued the Mixin Debt Token (MDT) series, including MDTu, MDTb, and MDTe, each representing claims for different categories of affected assets.

We would like to provide the following update on the debt repayment plan:

We plan to fully repay the debt represented by MDTu by September 23, 2026.

The Mixin team will continue to closely monitor the network’s operations and financial status, and will prioritize establishing a repayment plan for these tokens once conditions allow.

At Mixin, user interests remain our highest priority. We understand every user’s concerns regarding asset security and repayment progress, and we will continue to move forward with sincerity and our utmost efforts to fulfill this responsibility — step by step.
