What to Do If You Don’t Receive a SMS Code for logging?
If you are logging into Mixin or changing your login phone number within the app and do not receive the verification code, you can follow these steps for troubleshooting:
1. Ensure You Have Installed the Latest Version of Mixin.
2. Check if the App Proceeds to the Code Input Page After Entering Your Phone Number. If it doesn’t, there might be a network issue. Try switching to a different network.
3. Verify There Are No Error Messages After Entering Your Phone Number. If there is an error, take a screenshot of the error code and report it.
4. Ensure that no SMS Manager or similar app has blocked or Filled the message.
5. Avoid Excessive Attempts. For example, don’t attempt to resend the code 4-5 times within a few minutes. If you’ve made too many attempts, wait 24 hours before trying again.
6. Restart Your Phone or Use a Different Phone to Receive the Verification Code.
If none of these steps work, the issue may require contacting the SMS provider. This process typically takes 3 business days. You can email your issue and phone number to kelly@mixin.one for assistance.
