Mixin Messenger supports two ways to register or log in to your account — using a phone number or using a mnemonic phrase.
This guide explains how to register or log in with your phone number step by step.
1. Registration or Login Entry
- Open the Mixin Messenger app.
- On the home screen, tap Create Account or Existing Account.
- Choose the Phone option.

2. Enter Your Phone Number
- In the country code selector, choose the correct country or region (e.g. +86, +852, etc.).
- Enter your phone number.
- Tap Next to confirm.

3. Verify the Code
- Mixin will send a 4-digit SMS verification code to your phone number.
- Enter the 4-digit code in the Mixin Messenger app.
- Once verified, your registration or login will be completed successfully.

4. Initial Setup for New Accounts
If this is your first time registering for Mixin Messenger, follow these steps:
- Set up your profile photo and nickname.
- Create a PIN (wallet password) to protect your assets.
- Once completed, you’ll be taken to the main Mixin Messenger interface.

No.
Accounts logged in via phone number or mnemonic phrase can only be active on one mobile device at a time.
When you log in on a new device, the previous session will automatically be logged out.
