Starting from version 2.0.0, Mixin Messenger supports account registration using a mnemonic phrase.
Update Mixin Messenger to Version 2.0.0 and Above from the official website.
1. Ensure your Mixin version is 2.0.0 or above
2. Create an account
Open Mixin Messenger > Create Account > Mnemonic Phrase > Create, as shown below:
3. Back-Up the Mnemonic Phrase
It is recommended to back up your mnemonic phrase immediately if you create a Mixin account using a mnemonic phrase. You will see reminders on the chat home page, during depositing, and when logging out.
