How to add a Watch-Only Address

Starting from version 3.3.0, Mixin Messenger supports importing mnemonic wallets, private key wallets, and watch-only addresses. Imported wallets can be renamed, deleted, and managed flexibly.

Please update Mixin Messenger to version 3.3.0 or later. Download the latest version


1. Access the Watch-Only Address Feature

Open Mixin Messenger

→ Switch to the Wallet Home

→ Tap the top left corner to open the wallet list

→ Tap the + icon in the top right

→ Select Add Watch-Only Address


2. Add an Address

→ Enter your PIN to verify ownership

→ Select the Network

→ Enter the Address

→ Done – your watch-only address is now added.


🔢 Wallet limit: Higher membership levels support importing more wallets (including watch-only). Limits may be adjusted in the future, but already imported wallets will not be affected.

Does a watch-only address support contract or exchange addresses?

Not at the moment.

How can I turn a watch-only wallet into a fully functional wallet?

First, delete the watch-only wallet, then re-import it using the corresponding mnemonic or private key to enable signing and transactions.
