How to Use the Advanced (Limit Order) Feature in Mixin Messenger
Starting from Mixin Messenger 3.7.0, the former Swap entry has been upgraded to Trade, which now includes:
- Simple — the original swap feature
- Advanced — the new limit order feature
This guide explains how to place, manage, and cancel limit orders using the Advanced mode.
1. Feature Overview
- Easy to use — Built directly into Mixin Messenger, with support for setting an optional order expiration time.
- Best price execution — Aggregates Uniswap, 1inch, Jupiter, ExinOne, BigONE, OceanONE and more.
- All supported tokens — Any asset supported by your wallet can be used to create limit orders.
2. How to Place a Limit Order
Step 1: Open the Trade page
Go to the Wallet tab and tap Trade.
Step 2: Switch to “Advanced” mode
Trade includes two modes:
- Simple — instant swaps
- Advanced — limit orders
Tap Advanced to enter the limit order interface.
Step 3: Select the tokens
Choose:
- The token you want to pay
- The token you want to receive
Step 4: Enter the amount
Input the amount you want to buy or sell.
Tap MAX to use your full available balance.
Step 5: Set your limit price
Enter the price at which you want the trade to be executed.
- Tap Market to use the current market price as a reference.
- If either token has no market price available, “Market” will display 0, and you must enter the price manually.
Step 6: Preview and confirm
Review token types, amount, and limit price.
Enter your PIN to submit the order.
Your order will appear in the Current Orders section at the bottom of the page.
3. How to View Your Orders
You can view active or historical orders through:
Method 1
Trade → Advanced → scroll to Current Orders
Method 2
Trade → Advanced → tap the icon in the top-right corner → Order List
4. How to Cancel an Order
Step 1: Open order details
Locate your order from Current Orders or the Order List.
Step 2: Cancel the order
Tap Cancel Order.
Your assets will automatically return to your wallet.
Refund details
• Privacy Wallet: No additional fee
• Common Wallet: Network fees are deducted before refunding

- What is a limit order?
A limit order allows you to buy or sell a token at a specific price.
The order only executes when the market reaches that price.
- Does canceling an order cost any fees?
- Privacy Wallet: No fees
- Regular Wallet: Network fees will be deducted when returning the assets
