How to Bind an Invitation Code?

Mixin has launched an invitation referral program. By binding an invitation code, users can receive referral rewards.

Follow the steps below to bind your invitation code:

  1. Open Mixin Messenger
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner to enter your profile page
  3. Select Referral



  1. Enter your invitation code
  2. Tap Confirm to complete the binding



Note: Once an invitation code is bound, it cannot be modified or unbound. Please double-check before confirming.

  1. Do I still need to manually bind an invitation code if I downloaded Mixin via an invitation link?

Yes. Currently, you must manually enter and bind the invitation code.


  1. How can I invite others to earn rewards?

To activate the invitation feature, you need to become a Mixin One member. Please refer to the guide:

  1. Can I change or unbind my invitation code after binding?

No. Once an invitation code is bound, it becomes permanent and cannot be changed or unbound.

  1. How long does it take to see referral rewards after binding?

Referral rewards are settled at the beginning of next month and will appear in the pending status on your account once processed, it normally takes 2 hours.

  1. Does binding an invitation code cost anything?

No. Binding an invitation code is completely free, and you will automatically join the referral program.

  1. I don’t see the “Invitation” option in my app. What should I do?

Please ensure your Mixin Messenger is updated to version 3.5.0 or later.


  1. I got the error “Error 10730: Invalid invitation code.” What does it mean?

This means the invitation code you entered does not exist. Please double-check the code or try entering a valid one.


  1. I got the error “Error 10737: Binding failed, inviter’s membership has expired.” What should I do?

If the inviter’s Mixin One Membership has expired, their code is no longer valid.

Only active members’ invitation codes can be successfully bound and used to receive rewards.


  1. What exactly is the invitation referral program?

After binding an invitation code, your invitation relationship will be recorded automatically.

When you or your friends complete eligible actions (such as trading or subscribing to a membership), both parties may receive referral rewards. For details, please refer to the guide: The Referral Reward Rules
