How to Cancel a Limit Order?
In Limit Orders (Advanced Mode), any unfilled or partially filled order can be canceled at any time.
After cancellation, the unfilled portion of the assets will be automatically returned to your wallet (with some exceptions explained below).
1. Find Your Limit Order

- Open Mixin Messenger
- Go to Wallet → Trade
- Switch to Limit Orders (Advanced Mode)

Method 1:
At the bottom of the page, the system will display your recent orders.
If your unfinished order appears in the list, tap it directly to view the details.
Method 2:
If your order does not appear in the list, tap the Order Book icon in the top-right corner to view all orders.
When there are many orders, you can filter by “Confirming” status to quickly locate unfinished orders.
2. Cancel the Limit Order

- Tap the limit order you want to cancel to enter the Order Details page
- Select Cancel Order
- After confirmation, the order will be canceled
3. Asset Refund Notes
- The portion that has already been filled cannot be reversed
- The unfilled portion will be returned to your wallet after cancellation
- The actual arrival time may be affected by on-chain network conditions—please wait patiently
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Why didn’t my balance return after canceling the order?
This may happen in the following situations:
- The order amount was very small
- After cancellation, the remaining assets were insufficient to cover on-chain network fees
In such cases, the system cannot complete the refund, and the balance will not be returned to your wallet.
- Can I cancel an order that has been partially filled?
Yes.
If a limit order is partially filled, you can still cancel it:
- The filled portion will remain in your wallet
- The unfilled portion will be refunded after cancellation
- Can I withdraw assets while a limit order is active?
Assets can only be withdrawn, transferred, or traded again after the order is fully filled or successfully canceled, and the assets have returned to your wallet balance.
- What should I do if I placed a limit order by mistake?
If the order has not been filled or is only partially filled, it is recommended to cancel it as soon as possible to avoid execution at an unintended price.
- Why does my limit order remain in the “Confirming” status?
Possible reasons include:
- The market price has not reached your specified limit price
- Insufficient liquidity, so the order has not been matched yet
- Slow on-chain network conditions, and the order is still being processed
