# 如何修改密码 PIN？

||| Mixin Messenger 的六位数字密码忘记无法找回，设置后请妥善保管！
您可以随时更改 Mixin 的密码，更改后，应用会多次提示您输入密码，避免忘记。

### 修改密码
1. 进入 Mixin 设置
点您的 **头像 > 设置**

2. 找到 PIN
**账户 > 安全 > PIN**

3. 修改 PIN
点击修改 PIN 开启修改步骤；

您需要先输入旧的 PIN，才能输入新的 PIN

| 设置和更新密码时，需要重复输入四次
||| ⚠️ 请务必用纸笔记录下您的密码，避免修改过程意外中断

||| 修改 PIN 成功后，请务必等待底部进度条完成同步密钥分片，若进度条未走完就退出应用，重启后会需要您输入旧密码和新密码继续完成同步。

2. 修改过程意外退出怎么办？
请务必记住您输入的新 PIN，重新开启修改过程，先输入旧 PIN，在输入意外退出时输入的新 PIN。

3. 出现错误 429 怎么办？
若登录时验证密码，包括密码修改中断重新打开应用时输入密码完成修改步骤，出现 429 提示，需要等待 7 天。
