# What to Do If You Entered the Wrong Withdrawal Address?

If you entered an incorrect withdrawal address—meaning the address is not your intended destination and you do not know its owner—it is almost impossible to recover the assets. This is because Mixin’s withdrawals are automated, and once you confirm the withdrawal by entering your PIN, the transaction cannot be reversed.

||| Before saving the address and confirming the withdrawal, always double-check that the withdrawal address is correct.

Suppose you mistakenly entered an incorrect blockchain network address (e.g., using a Polygon or BEP20 address for an ETH withdrawal). In that case, you may try contacting the receiving wallet or the exchange’s customer support for possible recovery options.
