# How to View the Mnemonic or Private Key of an Imported Wallet

Starting from version **3.3.0**, Mixin Messenger supports importing mnemonic wallets, private key wallets, and watch-only addresses. Imported wallets can be renamed, deleted, and managed flexibly.

||| 🔐 Mixin servers never store your PIN, private keys, or mnemonics!

|| 📌 Wallets imported via **mnemonics** allow you to view both the mnemonic and private key. Wallets imported via **private keys** only allow you to view the private key.

### **View the Private Key**

**1. Access the Entry**
Open **Mixin Messenger** → Switch to the **Wallet Home** → Tap the **top left corner** to open the wallet list → Switch to the wallet you want to view → Tap the **More Menu** in the top right corner → Select **Show Private Key**

**2. View the Private Key**

||| ⚠️ Perform this action only in a secure environment. Do not expose your private key in public places or where cameras or strangers might be present.

Enter **PIN** → Select the **Network** → Confirm the security notes → View the private key.

### **View the Mnemonic**

**1. Access the Entry Point**
Open **Mixin Messenger** → Switch to the **Wallet Home** → Tap the **top left corner** to open the wallet list → Switch to the wallet you want to view → Tap the **More Menu** in the top right corner → Select **Show Mnemonic**

**2. View the Mnemonic**
