# How to Use Mixin Perpetual Copy Trading

Mixin Perpetual Contracts support the **Follow** feature.

You can post your own perpetual contract positions for other users to follow, or follow positions shared by other traders.

The Follow feature is available through the **Copy Trading Bot (7000105459)**.

| We recommend adding the bot to your contacts for quicker access in the future.

# How to Access the Follow Feature

1. Search for **7000105459** using the search bar at the top of Mixin.
2. Open the **Copy Trading** bot.
3. Tap **Add Contact**.
4. Tap the **🤖 Bot** button at the bottom to enter the Follow page.

The Follow page contains three sections:

* **Open Leads** – Browse positions posted by other traders and choose positions to follow.
* **My Leads** – View your perpetual contract positions and post them as leads.
* **My Follows** – View your follow records.

# How to Post a Lead

1. Go to **My Leads** → **Pending**.
| **Note:** If you don't have an open position yet, you'll be prompted to open one in Perpetual Contracts. After opening a position, return to the **Copy Trading Bot** > **My Leads**.
2. Select the position you want to post.
3. Tap **Post**.

After posting:

* Your position will appear in **Open Leads**.
* All users browsing **Open Leads** can view your lead.
* Posted positions can be found under **Active Leads**.
* Closed positions can be viewed under **Lead History**.

# How to Follow a Lead

1. Go to **Open Leads**.
2. Browse available leads.
3. Select the position you'd like to follow.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

After following a lead, you can view your positions in **My Follows**:

* **Active Follows** – Your current followed positions.
* **Follow History** – Your closed follow records.

# Follow Is Position-Based

Following is based on an entire **position**, not a single order.

For example:

A lead trader posts a **BTC/USDT long position**.

If the lead trader **adds to the position** before closing it, the additional size becomes part of the same lead position.

Profit sharing is calculated based on the **final net profit of the entire position**, rather than each individual entry or added position.

# Take Profit and Stop Loss

After a lead posts, if the lead trader sets or modifies the position's Take Profit or Stop Loss, followers can view the corresponding settings.

Followers may also set or modify their own Take Profit and Stop Loss based on their trading strategy.

Please note:

* **If the lead trader's Take Profit or Stop Loss is triggered first, both the lead trader's position and all followed positions will be closed.**
* **If a follower's own Take Profit or Stop Loss is triggered first, only that follower's position will be closed. The lead trader and other followers will not be affected.**

**Example:**

Alice opens a **BTC long position** with an entry price of **76,000 USDT** using **10× leverage**, and sets a Stop Loss at **75,000 USDT**.

Bob follows the lead and moves his stop-loss to **75,500 USDT**.

If BTC falls to **75,500 USDT**, Bob's position will close first, according to his stop-loss. The lead trader and other followers will remain in their positions.

If BTC continues to fall to **75,000 USDT**, the lead trader's Stop Loss will be triggered, and all remaining followers of that lead will have their positions closed.

Therefore, followers should fully understand the impact of modifying their own Take Profit and Stop Loss settings before making any changes.

# Profit Sharing

Posting a lead is **free of charge**.

When a follower makes a profit, profit sharing is calculated as follows:

* Profit sharing is charged **only when the followed position is profitable**.
* No profit sharing is charged if the followed position results in a loss.
* The profit share is **10% of the follower's net profit after trading fees**.
* The profit share is automatically paid to the lead trader.
| Even if a follower manually closes a profitable position, profit sharing will still be calculated and paid to the lead trader according to the above rules.

**Example:**

If a follower earns a **net profit of 100 USDT after trading fees**:

100 × 10% = **10 USDT**

The lead trader receives **10 USDT**, while the follower keeps the remaining **90 USDT**.

# Lead Validity

Each lead remains valid for **6 hours** from the time it is posted.

After it expires:

* The lead can no longer be followed by other users.
* Expired leads cannot be reactivated or posted again.
* To continue sharing trades, you must open a new perpetual contract position and post it as a new lead.

# Notes

* You must have an open perpetual contract position before posting a lead.
* Only posted positions are displayed in **Open Leads**.
* All users browsing **Open Leads** can view posted leads.
* Posted leads **cannot currently be removed**.
* Each lead is valid for **6 hours**. After expiration, you can no longer follow or reactivate it.
* Following involves market risk and does not guarantee profits.
* Perpetual contract trading carries significant risk. Please manage your position size and leverage carefully based on your risk tolerance.
