# How to log into my Mixin Messenger account using a mnemonic phrase?

Starting from version 2.0.0, Mixin Messenger supports logging in to accounts using a mnemonic phrase.
| Update Mixin Messenger to Version 2.0.0 and Above from the [official website](https://messenger.mixin.one/download).

### Mnemonic Phrase Login
* Ensure your Mixin Messenger is up to date

* Log In to Your Account
||| ⚠️ Please perform the login process in a secure environment. Do not use your mnemonic phrase in public places with cameras or strangers nearby.

Open Mixin Messenger > Existing Account > Mnemonic Phrase Login > Enter your mnemonic phrase, as shown below:

Choose 13 or 25 mnemonic phrase:

**No**, the mnemonic phrase can only be used with Mixin Network-related products.
