# How to Enable Conversation Privacy?

You can enable privacy protection by going to **Avatar > Settings > Account > Privacy > Conversation**. Once enabled, you can restrict                                        
**Who** **can send message to me **and ** Who can add me to groups.**

Please note that after enabling privacy protection, individuals who are not in your contacts will not be able to send you messages. Messages sent by them will remain in a "✅" single checkmark status and will not be delivered to your device.
