# How to Create Referral Codes in Mixin Messenger

Starting from **Mixin Messenger version 3.5.0**, paid Mixin One members can create referral codes to invite others and earn trading and membership commissions.
This guide explains how to create your first referral code, how to create multiple referral codes, and how to switch between them.

## **1. Create Your First Referral Code**

If you have never created a referral code before, follow the steps below:

1. Open **Mixin Messenger**
2. Tap the **avatar** in the top-right corner → enter the **Invite** page

3. Tap **Create Referral Code**
4. Set the following:
    — **Referral commission percentage for the invitee** (range depends on your membership tier)
    — **Remarks / Label** (recommended for identifying traffic sources or promotion channels)
5. Tap **Save**

Once created, you may copy your referral code or referral link.

## **2. How to Create Multiple Referral Codes**

Paid Mixin One members may create multiple referral codes to support different promotion channels or campaigns.

To create additional codes:

1. Go to **Mixin Messenger → Avatar → Invite**
2. In the existing referral code section, **tap the currently displayed referral code**
3. In the popup menu, select **“Create New Referral Code”**
4. Set:
    — **Invitee commission percentage**
    — **Remarks / Label** (used to distinguish different referral codes)
5. Tap **Save**

Your new referral code will appear in the referral code list.

## **3. How to Switch Between Referral Codes**

You must switch to a specific referral code before you can copy that code or its corresponding referral link.

To switch codes:

1. Go to **Mixin Messenger → Avatar → Invite**
2. Tap the currently displayed referral code
3. A popup will list **all referral codes you have created**
4. Tap the referral code you want to switch to
5. After switching, you can:
    — **Copy referral code**
    — **Copy referral link** (recommended for sharing with friends)

**1. What are the benefits of having multiple referral codes?**
Multiple referral codes help you track different promotion channels such as friends, Telegram groups, communities, X/Twitter, etc.

**2. Can different referral codes have different commission percentages?**
Yes. Each referral code can have its own commission settings.

**3. Can I delete a referral code?**
No. Under the current system, referral codes **cannot** be deleted once created.

**4. Does clicking a referral link automatically bind the referral code?**
Only for users who already have Mixin Messenger installed.
For new users:

* If the user has not installed Mixin Messenger, they can download and register via the referral link.
* After installation, the user must **click the referral link again** to manually confirm the binding.
