# How to add members?

You need to add members before creating a Safe; here are the steps for adding members:

# Find the "Members" tab and "Add Member"
You can find the **Members** tab on the left sidebar, and click the **Add Member** button to start adding.

# Search members
You can search Mixin ID or the contact name and then add it.

Then the member status becomes **Added**

# Check Members
Then, back to the **Members** tab, you can see the member list:

Click the **View** button, and you can see all Safe info related to the member:

||| You can also delete members, but you need to discard all Safes co-managed with this member; otherwise, you cannot successfully delete the member.
